This expedition focuses on the unique karst topography of the Khasi Hills. You will explore limestone and sandstone caves, navigate underground rivers, and trek across ancient bio-engineered root bridges. It balances the thrill of narrow cave squeezes with the serene beauty of emerald-blue river pools.

Package Inclusions

  • Accommodation: 3 Nights in Shillong, 2 Nights in Cherrapunjee.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & The Scottish Vibes

Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati. Drive to Shillong (3 hours), stopping at Umiam Lake. Evening walk through Police Bazar to experience local Khasi culture.

Day 2: Laitlum Canyons & Arwah Cave

Day 2 Morning visit to Laitlum Canyon for Grand Canyon-style views. Afternoon exploration of Arwah Cave, famous for its limestone formations and 30-million-year-old fossils.

Day 3: The Deep Descent (Mawmluh & Mawsmai)

Day 3 Dedicated caving day. Begin with Mawmluh Cave, involving some crawling and wading through knee-deep water. Later, visit the well-lit Mawsmai Cave for a more relaxed walk-through.

Day 4: Living Roots & Rainbow Falls

Day 4 Drive to Tyrna. Descend 3,500 steps to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. If energy permits, trek further to the turquoise Rainbow Falls. Overnight stay in a local homestay or return to Sohra.

Day 5: Shnongpdeng & Crystal Waters

Day 5 Drive to Dawki. Spend the day at Shnongpdeng for kayaking and cliff jumping in the crystal-clear Umngot River. Evening return to Shillong.

Day 6: Heritage & Departure

Day 6 Visit the Don Bosco Museum (Asia's largest cultural museum). Drive back to Guwahati for your evening flight.

  • We are not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, or bankruptcy.

  • Boarding pass issuance is passenger responsibility.
  • Wrong ticket issuance must be reported within 2–3 hours.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
  • Approved refunds will be issued only as Credit Note.
  • Cancellation before 45 days – Credit Note valid for 6 months (any international tour).
  • Cancellation within 45 days – Credit Note valid for same tour within 6 months.
  • No refund for denied boarding, immigration issues, or unused services.

5. Passport & Visa Policy

  • Passport must have minimum 6 months validity from return date.
  • Minimum 3 blank visa pages required.
  • Passport validity is passenger’s responsibility.
  • Visa approval/rejection depends solely on respective Embassy.
